My Experience Taking CBD Hemp Oil For 2 Weeks

After constantly showing up to work with bags under my eyes and coworkers looking at me like I’ve been up all night plotting something insane, I decided it was time to actually do something about my anxiety and insomnia. I asked some friends and family for suggestions and set out trying everything from sleepy time tea to reading a book. As months went by with still no success, I knew I needed something outside of the box. Luckily, I was given an opportunity to try CBD Hemp Oil and I wanted to share my experience with everyone who may be thinking about trying it!

It seems like every time I bring up having anxiety or a hard time falling asleep, a bunch of other people around me nod in agreement because they share my pain. This is something I have struggled with for as long as I can remember. Throughout the day, I function fine - more than fine, actually. I’m able to focus, get all of my work done without much procrastination, and I even get those typical feelings of sleepiness. However, once I make it into bed, it seems like a switch gets flipped on and my anxiety suddenly sets in. I can’t explain it, but it keeps my brain running non-stop for what seems like a lifetime, and it keeps me from being able to fall asleep at a decent hour.

Since I was a teenager, I have tried everything to help my anxiety, including pharmaceuticals. I opted out of using those after religiously taking them for 5-6 years. I didn’t want to feel like a slave to pharmaceutical drugs, and no one should have to (especially at that young of an age). I was also recommended and prescribed medical marijuana, but, like most jobs, drug testing at work made that an impossible option.

So what is CBD Hemp Oil?

Don’t get me wrong, I had heard of CBD, but I always categorized it with “weed” and didn’t think it was something I could use. After more research and talking with other CBD users, I was convinced it was something worth trying.

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, and it is a natural component derived from the hemp plant. It has many documented medical benefits, and most users swear by its use. Although it comes from the marijuana/hemp plant, CBD doesn’t make you feel “high” or make you intoxicated - only THC will do that. CBD oil has been used to treat ailments like anxiety, migraines, inflammation, nausea, chronic pain, and the list goes on and on.

Why CBD Bio Naturals?

CBD Bio Naturals adhere to strict organic farming practices. This means they do not use any synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. No chemicals are used in the process of extracting CBD, keeping it pure and clean. Each batch is tested for any contaminants before being made available to sell.

While some CBD Oils in the market contain levels of THC, CBD Bio Natural’s CBD Hemp Oil does not contain THC! That’s why it is legal to use in all 50 states, so you can be sure as a professional in the workplace that it will not show up on a drug screening.

My Experience

So you’re probably wondering, DID IT WORK?! Well here’s what happened when I took one full dropper of CBD Bio Natural’s Ultra Premium CBD Hemp Oil every night for two weeks.

When I first opened the bottle, I noticed the smell and texture of the oil. I would compare it to olive oil in consistency as well as taste, but mixed with a faint hint of rose oil. It didn’t taste bad by any means, just different from anything I have ever tried. I wasn’t sure how long it would take to “kick in,” so I tried it at around 9:30 p.m., about an hour before my ideal bedtime. Per the instructions, I used one full dropper and placed it under my tongue, holding it there for 60 seconds before swallowing what was left. Then I turned on the TV and waited.

A little less than an hour went by and I noticed my thoughts weren’t running all over the place. My legs weren’t shaking and kicking as much as they normally do, my body wasn’t as fidgety, and my mind felt calm. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was the oil or if I was just actually tired, but I turned off the TV before finishing the episode and just went to sleep. It was actually pretty strange and really unlike me.

I never really felt it “kick in.” That’s probably due to the fact that it isn’t a drug and doesn’t give you a “high.” I would compare it more to a vitamin or a natural herb, in that you never feel it actually working, you just know it is. I was unsure if I should increase my dosage, decrease it, or just keep it the same. So I ended up just keeping it the same - one full dropper - each night for the next two weeks.

I wasn’t able to fall asleep INSTANTLY, but let’s keep in mind that CBD Hemp Oil is not a miracle drug. It doesn’t just turn your on switch off and magically fix your whole life. What it did do, though, is help calm my nerves. It eased my anxiety at night and kept my mind from racing through typical stressors and issues. It allowed me to spend less time focusing on things out of my control and more time focusing on relaxing. I found that I tossed-and-turned a lot less than I usually do, and I don’t recall waking up a bunch of times throughout the night (which is usually my norm). I have been able to get full nights of sleep, and I have been waking up much better because of it. Waking up early to get ready for work hasn’t been so dreadful and I’ve felt less sluggish in the mornings.

That being said, I am feeling excited to continue using CBD Bio Natural’s CBD Hemp Oil and may even up my dosage to the recommended 2 full droppers to fully experience its benefits. I feel much more comfortable knowing that it is grown responsibly and that it presents a natural alternative to other options on the market.
