Literally every time I tell someone my nationality (Middle Eastern) they do the whole look me up and down all puzzled thing. I get it, I’m white and pasty! But seriously, I’m 100% Lebanese, even if my skin tone doesn’t show it.

As an ethnic girl with major olive undertones, lots of things are different for me. For example, an hour in the sun won’t burn me - it’ll turn me dark af! It’s formulated specifically for ladies with skin type III-VI and those with sensitive skin. If you’re not familiar with the Fitzpatrick Skin Types (I used to work in a tanning salon, this was my bread and butter right here!!), it’s basically a classification system for human skin color. It was created as a way to kinda estimate the response your skin will have to UV light. Lighter skin types are more susceptible to burning, and darker skin types (III-VI) will tan without burning. FUN FACT - The Fitzpatrick Skin Types are what they used to determine the emoji skin colors! WOO SCIENCE!!!

Ok in all seriousness - LeCerre’s Rapid Brightening Serum is made to gently reduced the appearance of sun spots, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and melasma. As someone who used to suffer from severe acne, I’ll take all the help I can get clearing these scars and the leftover hyperpigmentation from harsh creams I’ve been prescribed in the past. While it does its thing, the serum is simultaneously smoothening your skin, hydrating, and acts as an anti-inflammatory to reduce puffiness and redness.

It’s an easy 1-step process, so adding it to my daily routine was cake. In the morning after cleansing, I apply 1-2 pumps in a circular motion all over my face. It feels super light and dewy because it has no silicon! I like to pat it in gently to make sure it’s well absorbed in my skin. Once it’s set, I apply my usual sunscreen, moisturizer, and makeup (if needed that day). LeCerre recommends you use the serum daily in the morning and at night for best results!

Girls with darker skin tones tend to scar easily, and the scarring is much more visible on our skin because it sticks out.
