My Experience with Try.com - FREE SHOPPING?!
It’s safe to say that I am a shopping addict. That was the main drive behind starting a blog in the first place. I wanted a place to share my favorite things and best finds with the rest of the world. That being said, in order to keep up with the latest trends, I have become a 100% dedicated online shopper. Let’s be honest, who in the world has time to drive down to the mall, walk through a bunch of stores, get undressed a zillion times to try things on, and then find out that online they had an amazing deal or discount going on?! No thank you! I’d rather order up a bunch of items and try them on conveniently in the privacy of my own home, where I can pair them up with the right shoes or the right purse and get a real feel for if I love it or not.
Cue my annoyed husband, who watches my credit card bill rack up, only to take weeks of processing time to go back to normal when I realize that half the stuff I ordered doesn’t even fit. And on top of that, to get back online and find that the item is now sold out, making it impossible for me to even try my correct size!
Now imagine if you could order the items you wanted in multiple sizes, not pay a dime, and only get charged if you decide to keep them? No, I’m not talking about a subscription box. I’m talking about you shopping on your favorite online retail sites, picking out things you love (not some stylist who has never even met you!), trying everything on at home, keeping what you love, and returning what you don’t. And only getting charged for what you keep!
Friends, say hello to Try.com - your new shopping bff and my SECRET WEAPON!
Recently, I had the opportunity to give Try.com a try myself. I do recommend downloading the app if you’re an avid phone shopper, but I always prefer doing my shopping on my laptop. Either way, the results were the same and super simple. You set up your payment info with Try.com and then just get to shopping. They have partnered up with a bunch of my favorite online retailers, including REVOLVE, MADEWELL, SHOPBOP, ZARA, and FOREVER 21. Once you’ve filled up your cart, you click the Try.com icon and it handles the rest for you!
You have 7 days to decide if you want to keep or return your item.
It’s that simple. No more paying upfront for something you might hate.
For my shopping haul, I went a little crazy at Revolve. There are so many things I have been dying to try, but never felt comfortable charging that much to my card. But now I felt secure knowing I wouldn’t be giving my money away blindly.
My absolute favorite pieces were this See by Chloe purse and this black oversized sweater. I am so excited to incorporate these into my fall rotation!
Unfortunately, I did end up with a few pieces that didn’t fit. But if I hadn’t used Try.com, the total of these pieces (OVER $500!!!) would have been a pending charge on my credit card!! I am in no way, shape, or form trying to pay interest on something that I don’t even plan on keeping.. Amiright?!
I’m so glad I had the opportunity to try out this amazing shopping tool and I really hope you all can get some use out of it, too!
For the month of October, you can receive a $25 credit towards your purchase of $100 just by using Try.com! Think of it as like a free tank, or put it towards that pair of booties you’ve been dying to snag for the season!
Thank you to Try.com for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
