Life has been crazy hectic around here lately. We finally got around to furnishing our guest bedroom, which led us to revisiting our guest bathroom for major renovations. We figured since the construction crew was going to be around, we might as well get going a custom built-in for our office as well! With people constantly coming in and out of our house, and us not being able to take weeks off from work at a time, I have to admit we did get a little nervous. So we partnered up with CamHome and have been using their Olva S indoor security camera to keep tabs on what’s going on while we’re away.

I’m not going to lie and say I’m always completely comfortable with having people in our home while we’re at work.. Even if we’ve worked with these people multiple times over the past few years. We decided to install this one overlooking the living room area, but with its swivel feature, I’m able to see the front door, living/dining room area, and even the back slider door, which makes me feel so much better. My favorite part about CamHome’s Olva S indoor security camera is that it was insanely easy to install (just plug in and go, no need to screw anything in or damage any walls) and I can connect to it via an app on my iPhone and watch what’s going on from anywhere in the world. It even has night vision, so I don’t have to worry about not being able to see what’s going on if we forget to turn on a light in the evening.

The Olva is extremely low-profile, so it doesn’t really clash with the decor I have set up around it. I’m really picky about stuff like that, but this little cutie camera isn’t bugging me at all. It’s small and it just blends right in.

We don’t have kids, but I know that all the moms out there could get major use out of this camera for keeping tabs on their kiddos. It has an intercom system that you can control straight from the app as well, so you can talk to whoever’s home and you can hear their responses in real time! I’ve been totally abusing this feature to talk to Bambi whenever I catch her sleeping on the couch, lol! Ultimate dog mom over here, sorry so obsessed!
